 Check for Updates Every Week!
Just a few notes to keep you up and running smoothly and efficiently.
We are constantly improving by adding new features, and fixing nagging problems. The way that you capitalize on these improvements is to perform an update while you are connected to the Internet. Some examples of features added and improved are as follows:
Improved adding of pictures and scanned signatures
Improved re-sizing the picture file size and added "Resize All" button
Added a new set of backup buttons to backup and restore all of the surveys and templates, PDFs, as well as, backup folders.
Added a
nd improved the right click in the "Edit Window" for cut, copy, and paste.
To run these updates (up to Windows XP) follow these simple steps:
1. Open Force5
2. Click on the help menu.
3. Click on the "check for update" option.
4. Follow the prompts and wait until Force5 closes and re-opens up again.
That's all there is to it. The latest version number at the end of the upper left window border is "Version 8.2.22.34"soon to be upgraded to 35, with some cool new features.
Vista users can make this as easy as the above (follow these steps only once):
1. Make sure Force5 is closed.
2. Then right click over the red Force5 Millennium icon
3. Go down to the bottom and click on Properties selection.
4. Click the Compatibility tab.
Note: You now may perform the steps 1-4 for XP users above. From now on you perform only the first four steps for XP users.
